Contract Type: Temporary – contract until the end of this year, with potential for extension and possible permanent employment

Pay: £13.49 per hour

Reporting to: Warehouse Team Lead

Closing Date: Ongoing

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:15; Friday: 07:30 – 15:00

Breaks:

• 2 × 15‑minute paid breaks per shift
• 1 × 30‑minute unpaid break per shift
• Flexibility required to support additional hours during the week and at weekends when needed.

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to support operations within the CMB Storesdown in the Fawley area. This role is initially on a temporary ongoing basis until the end of the year. There is potential for extension and possible permanent employment.

Main Responsibilities

• Work safely in full compliance with site Health & Safety requirements
• Take responsibility for own safety and the safety of others
• Pick materials for issue to site
• Store materials in racking and shelving locations
• Load and unload materials using a forklift truck
• Monitorthe warehouse service counter
• Receive and receipt goods deliveries
• Enter data into the Warehouse Management System (SAP) and spreadsheets
• Dispatch materials as required
• Respond to ad hoc tasks and requests from management

Skills & Experience Required

• Good numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail
• IT literacy (training provided where appropriate)
• Forklift truck experience (training provided where appropriate)
• Ability to prioritise workload and work independently and as part of a team
• UK Driving Licence (ideal) with access to own transport due to location of site
