Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a welcoming secondary school in Trafford who are seeking a talented Teacher of French and Spanish to join their team. This full‑time role is offered on a long‑term supply basis from 1st June to 17th July.
The Role
We’re looking for a Modern Foreign Languages specialist who can bring creativity, ambition and high standards to the classroom. You will:
- Teach French and Spanish across Key Stage 3, five days per week
- Deliver engaging, inspiring and differentiated lessons
- Use confident, calm behaviour management rooted in AfL principles
- Adapt teaching to meet the evolving needs of students
- Join a supportive MFL department committed to raising achievement

- FE‑trained MFL specialists with experience teaching 11‑16 year olds

This is a small, friendly Catholic academy in Trafford, part of a large and reputable academy trust supporting Catholic secondary schools across Manchester. The school is on an exciting improvement journey as it works to regain its Good Ofsted rating, with inspectors noting: “The school values underpin the high expectations for pupils’ behaviour. What You’ll Need
- Qualified teaching status: QTS, QTLS or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
