The Role
- You will provide 1:1 and small group academic support across core subjects, matched to pupil needs.
- You will help pupils regulate, stay engaged, and access learning through calm, consistent routines.
- You will deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy to close gaps and build confidence.
- You will support behaviour for learning using agreed strategies, clear boundaries, and de-escalation.
- You will adapt tasks so pupils can succeed without lowering expectations.
- You will track progress and share clear feedback with teachers and the wider support team.
- You will follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times and report concerns immediately.
The Candidate
- 2:2 degree or above in Psychology (or a closely related subject).
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
- Calm, patient, and consistent, especially when behaviour is challenging.
- Clear communicator and maintain strong professional boundaries.
- Reliable, proactive, and comfortable following support plans consistently.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to obtain one.
