HW Interim Solutions are supporting a major infrastructure organisation with the appointment of an Interim Head of Commercial (Infrastructure & Capital Projects).
Reporting to the Group Head of Capital Projects, this is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a national team of Commercial Managers and providing commercial oversight across a diverse portfolio of capital projects.
We are particularly keen to speak with individuals who have a strong background in construction, civil engineering or major infrastructure environments and can demonstrate experience of leading commercial teams through the full project lifecycle, from concept and investment appraisal through to project completion and handover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring robust commercial governance across the portfolio, maintaining close engagement with customers and stakeholders, and driving the delivery of effective, value-led solutions. This role requires someone who can balance commercial control with pragmatism, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for the business.
We are keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Significant experience within construction, civil engineering or major infrastructure project
- Experience leading and developing commercial teams within complex project environments
- Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder management capability
- Experience operating across the full project lifecycle from project inception through to completion
- The ability to balance governance, customer requirements and commercial outcomes
- A collaborative, pragmatic and delivery-focused leadership style
