Product Manager (Public Sector Transformation) | Contract Roles | Inside IR35 – Variable rates from £600 per day | MUST HOLD CURRENT VALID SC CLEARANCE
Location: London (Initial on-site, then mostly remote)
We are supporting a major UK public sector organisation delivering a large-scale, multi-year transformation programme backed by significant investment. This programme spans multiple workstreams focused on modernising trade and commodities capabilities.
We are looking for experienced Product Managers to lead strategy, roadmap development, and delivery across key digital products.
Responsibilities:
- Define and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery through to delivery
- Engage senior stakeholders across government and delivery teams
- Translate complex trade / commodities requirements into scalable product solutions
- Prioritise backlogs and drive value-led delivery within Agile environments
- Collaborate closely with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful execution
Requirements:
- Strong Product Management experience within UK public sector / government organisations
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks and product-led delivery
- Active SC clearance (essential – non-active will not be considered)
- Ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

- Programme expected to run 3–4 years
- Day rates from £600+ (dependent on experience)
- Initial 1–2 weeks onsite in London, then primarily remote
