Support Worker – Weymouth
Location: Weymouth
Hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and alternate Sundays, 12:00pm – 5:00pm (with some flexibility and potential for additional hours). Additional hours can be gained if required.
Salary: £18.00 per hour

Role Overview
We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to work with a young person in Weymouth. This role involves providing consistent, low‑pressure support both at home and in the community, helping to build independence and confidence over time. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing a trusting relationship, supporting emotional wellbeing, and encouraging engagement in daily activities, including outdoor interests and animal care.
Requirements
- Ideally holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Health & Social Care
- Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
- Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
- Able to work set hours with flexibility when required
- Must be comfortable with animals, including horses and multiple pets
- Full UK driving licence required
- A warm, approachable nature with a good sense of humour
