Our Hillier Garden Centre at Cheddar is a well‑established and popular destination for gardening enthusiasts, offering a wide range of plants, gifts, outdoor living products and expert advice.
Role Overview
As a Garden Centre Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our garden centre. You will be responsible for helping customers, maintaining the centre, and ensuring our plants and products are well cared for. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic work environment and is willing to adapt to varying tasks.
Responsibilities
- Help customers with product selection and advice.
- Maintain the centre, including plant and product care.
- Support busy periods by taking extra shifts when required during peak trading periods.
Job Details
Part‑time, fixed‑term contract until 05 July 2026, with guaranteed 15 hours per week on a rota schedule.
Requirements
- Proactive and flexible with availability for extra shifts during peak trading periods.
- Right to work in the UK.
