Salary £12.60 per hour. Fixed term until 20/06/2026. Variable hours. Part time, 5 hours per week. Term time. Withnell fold Primary School, Chorley.

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.
You will work as part of a team in Withnell fold Primary School, providing high quality, healthy balanced meals for school children.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away.
- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.
- Cleaning of all equipment and catering areas.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
- Good customer care skills.
- Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.
Working Hours/Days
Monday to Friday. Term time only + 4 days. 5 hours per week, 1 hour per day, although hours are variable depending upon school meal uptake.
This role requires a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure as part of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
