B2B AI Fashion Marketplace Startup

London (Hybrid, 3-4 days office)

£50k-£55k base + 30% bonus + equity & benefits

At Hired By Startups, we’re working with a fast-growing, well-funded recommerce startup, building the infrastructure powering the global secondhand clothing trade.

Backed by prominent US and European VCs, this startup has tripled in size year-on-year and built an AI-powered platform that’s digitising what has historically been a completely manual, offline supply chain.

This is a high-impact new business role. You’ll be identifying, prospecting, and closing the startup’s largest marketplace customers, while helping to define the sales playbook as you go. If that excites you, keep reading.

About the role

As Account Executive, you will:

  • Identify, prospect, and close key accounts including vintage enterprises, retail stores, and high-volume resellers.
  • Visit stores, get on calls, and build deep relationships with buyers across online and offline channels.
  • Help define how the company acquires large customers. You’re building the playbook, not just executing it.
  • Build AI-enabled outreach and new business workflows alongside the tech team.
  • Own and exceed revenue targets, taking a proactive approach to pipeline building.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, operations, and marketing to feed insights back into the business.

About you

As Account Executive, you’ll need:

  • 2+ years in a commercial role at an early-stage startup, selling in fast-moving environments where the playbook didn’t exist yet.
  • Familiarity with online and offline sales channels. You know how to prospect, nurture, and close across multiple touchpoints.
  • An AI-first mindset. You’re excited about building AI-enabled sales workflows and using automation to scale outreach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. You’re comfortable on the phone, in person, and in cold outreach.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial. You take a proactive approach and consistently over-achieve against targets.
  • A genuine interest in fashion, secondhand, or vintage would be a bonus.
