Class 2 Hiab Driver

Our client, is one of the largest independent fencing, timber, and builders’ merchants in the UK. Currently they are seeking a Class 2 Driver to join their well established team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Drive in accordance with the law, ensuring safety and courtesy.
• Comply with current legislation.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading.
• Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service.
• Build rapport with customers, displaying politeness and courtesy.
• Proactively contribute to sales growth by seeking out potential opportunities.
• Be vigilant in preventing loss or damage of products and vehicles.
• Report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately.

We would love to meet someone with:

• A valid HGV Class 2 License.
• A valid Hiab License (essential).
• A positive and friendly attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach.
• Good interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to approach customers.
• A desire to develop knowledge of the company, its products, and the necessary elements for success in this business.
• A professional approach, promoting and adhering to the company’s culture and values.
