About the Role

As a Youth Support Worker, you’ll provide specialist care and guidance to young people facing complex challenges. You’ll act as a keyworker, offering consistency, support, and advocacy while promoting safety and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build positive relationships and provide emotional support
  • Safeguard and challenge young people appropriately
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Create care plans and progress reports
  • Lead educational, recreational, and physical activities
  • Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015

Qualifications

Previous care experience is helpful, but full training is provided.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: £30,024 – £33,669 plus allowances, enhanced hours, and sleep-in payments (total package: £37,449 – £41,858)

Competitive Salary: £30,024 – £41,858 per annum (inclusive of allowances)
