Working for a client located in the Peterborougharea, the Security Officer will be responsible in ensuring the safety and security of the clients people, property and assets.
Our customer is a long established Manned GuardingProvider, starting in 1993. Starting as a small family run business and growinginto a successful medium sized business. Our customer believes in providing ahigh quality of service and is passionate about driving standards in theGuarding Industry. They are looking for the right people to join their teamthat have the same passion and drive.
The opportunity is for a Security Officer to work asan integral part of the Security Team.
Responsibilities of the Security Officer:
- Adhering to site specific assignment instructions to ensure safety and security of all client buildings and assets
- Accurately recording incidents as and when required in full and taking appropriate action where required
- Writing complete and accurate Incident Reports and taking appropriate action as required on all reports.
- Being an essential part of a team working together to achieve a common goal delivering excellent customer service
- Working with clients, contractors, and visitors on site to coordinate activities or direct them accordingly
- Liaising with emergency services and other third parties where necessary
- Onsite patrols, key holding responsibilities
To apply for the Security Officer role you will require the following:
- Hold a current and valid SIA Licence in an appropriate sector
- Be of smart and professional appearance
- Be an excellent communicator
- Have a flexible approach to working
- Beresponsible and trustworthy
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Security role
- A full UK Driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential
Location:Peterborough
Hours / Days: 45 hours p/w, day shift, Monday toFriday (Saturday on rota basis)
Job type: Permanent
Salary: £9.25 p/h (depending on site working)
