Photography Teacher – KS4 & KS5 in Barnet | Independent School | Full-Time | Autumn Term. Pay up to MPS6: £194 – £258 daily rate. SANZA Teaching Agency is partnering with a terrific independent school in Barnet to recruit a talented and passionate Photography Teacher for a full-time long-term position starting in the Autumn Term, with a trial period now. The successful candidate will teach Photography across Key Stages 4 and 5, following the Eduqas specification (English branch of WJEC). The timetable is predominantly Photography-focused, with the possibility of some additional “Choice” teaching on Friday afternoons. These sessions are co-curricular enrichment clubs, though this aspect of the role is currently unconfirmed. The school seeks an inspiring classroom practitioner who can deliver creative, high-quality lessons and support students in achieving excellent GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Teach Photography across KS4 and KS5 following the Eduqas specification.
- Deliver creative, high-quality lessons to GCSE and A-Level students.
- Maintain engaging classroom environments and support student achievement.
- Possibly undertake some KS3 “Choice” enrichment teaching (session timing and delivery subject to confirmation).
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive, well-resourced departmental culture.
Qualifications
- Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential.
- Experience teaching Photography at KS4 and KS5.
- Confident delivering the Eduqas specification.
- Creative, organised, and passionate about visual arts education.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
