Live-in Nanny

Responsibilities

• Providing daily care and support for the newborn, including feeding, changing, and establishing routines
• Assisting the mother with all aspects of newborn care while respecting her involvement
• Maintaining a clean and organised nursery
• Supporting sleep routines, and ensuring the baby’s safety and well-being at all times
• Working collaboratively with other household staff, including the Housekeeper
• Being comfortable around pets (the household has two cats)

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for newborns
• A team player who works well within a staffed household
• A calm, flexible, and supportive approach to working alongside a stay-at-home parent
• Comfortable with animals and able to work in a pet-friendly home
• DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
• The family is looking for a long-term Nanny, so it is essential that the candidate is committed to longevity

Days

5 days per week, with preference for 2 weekdays off (or one weekend day off and one weekday)

Hours

Approx. 9.00am-6.00pm (to be discussed with the principal)

Private bedroom and bathroom within the household
