Good graded Secondary School in Walthamstow, London is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full‑time permanent position with a salary package between £40,317 and £52,300 per annum, based on the London MPS scale. New starters (ECTs) are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Full‑time teaching within the Humanities department.
• Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may also be available).
• Inspire a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.
• Support students’ academic progress and wider personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop curriculum resources.
• Engage positively with parents, carers, and the wider school community.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and has experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language and literature.
