Job title: Asset Systems Officer

Grade: D

Salary: £31,537 – £33,143 per annum (rising to £33,143)

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week

Location: Dorchester Support Offices, Poundbury

Appointment Type: Permanent

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Asset Management System to ensure the Service is compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations and the asset is achieving value for money
  • Develop and deliver training in the use of the Asset Management System to all users as required
  • Act as contract manager for the Asset Management Systems, including system development, problem solving, supplier performance and budgets

Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent vocational qualification in a related subject area
  • Experience extracting data from and interrogating databases
  • Proven experience with statistical collection and collation of data
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and the internet
  • Ability to design, develop and deliver training

Other Requirements

  • Full current driving licence and ability to travel across Dorset and Wiltshire; use of own vehicle required; a service vehicle may be available but only manual transmission
