Support Worker

Job Description: Support Worker – Salary: £12.71 per hour – Working Hours: Part Time – Service: Steps Newfield View – Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

We are recruiting Support Workers to join Steps Newfield View, part of the National Care Group. We provide one‑to‑one support across 14 supported living settings plus outreach in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, focusing on tailored support to help each person achieve their individual goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to people with learning disabilities, mental health, and autism.
• Assist individuals in developing and building upon their skills to achieve personal goals.
• Collaborate with the team to promote person‑centred support.

• Showing a caring attitude with a passion for supporting others.
• Ability to work as a team player and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Resilience and the confidence to ask for support when needed.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
