Position

Female Support Workers to assist five individuals who live in their own homes to live as independently as possible. The people we support have learning disabilities, autism and mental health challenges but enjoy a wide range of activities and are looking for inventive, supportive people to join.

Responsibilities

  • Medication administration
  • Cooking
  • Helping people achieve their goals
  • Maintaining their homes and managing finances
  • Providing 24‑hour support, including flexibility for shifts between 7.30 am and 10 pm, varying shift lengths of 1‑8 hours, night and overnight support

Requirements

  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including nighttime and overnight support
  • Strong preference for staff who hold a UK driving licence (experienced staff without a licence may also be considered)
  • Female colleague required for this role, a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010
  • Reliability, honesty, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
