The Conservation Volunteers (Northern Ireland) – TCVNI is looking for volunteer officers to donate a minimum of 6 months of time. Officers can work in practical conservation, environmental education or community development.
Roles may involve working with vulnerable people (children or adults at risk). Officers may be in a position of trust and will need a criminal record check.
Training
Volunteer officers must complete a first aid course and TCV’s online learning programme covering Health & Safety and safeguarding. Additional training may include one‑day courses or job shadowing.
Expenses
TCV covers travel costs and any direct expenses. Officers receive suitable outdoor clothing.
