About the Role
The Joiner will be part of the Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Maintenance team, delivering high standard joinery work on properties throughout North Yorkshire, especially near Leeds and York.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Karbon Homes in providing excellent repairs and maintenance service.
- Deliver all aspects of joinery works in domestic and non‑domestic premises, from minor repairs to major component installation.
- Work in occupied and void properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and continuously improve processes.
- Participate in out‑of‑hours service as required, receiving additional payments.
- Travel throughout North Yorkshire, particularly near Leeds and York.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a recognised trade apprenticeship or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant joinery qualifications and a strong track record in the trade.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety.
- Full UK driving licence.
Working Arrangements and Key Details
- Permanent role, full‑time 37 hours per week.
- Location: York.
- Working patterns: 8 am‑4 pm, 9 am‑5 pm or 10 am‑6 pm.
- Company van provided.
- Regular overtime opportunities; additional payments for out‑of‑hours work.
- Salary: £35,218 per annum.
