About Everyman Driving Experiences

Everyman Driving Experiences is the UK’s leading provider of supercar and motorsport driving days. With 24+ circuits nationwide, 400+ events each year, and a fleet of 300+ high-performance cars, we deliver unforgettable experiences to thousands of customers every season.

The Role

We’re looking for proactive and technically minded Freelance Event Technicians to join our team within the fast-paced automotive events industry.

As part of a leading driving experience provider, you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless event technology across some of the UK’s most prestigious race circuits, including Brands Hatch, Donington Park, and the iconic Top Gear Test Track.

This is a hands‑on, varied role combining IT support, event setup, and on‑site problem solving – perfect for someone who enjoys technology, travel, and working in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain event support rigs prior to deployment
  • Set up and test all equipment on‑site ahead of each event
  • Provide first‑line technical support for hardware and software issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly under pressure
  • Support photography and in‑car video systems
  • Windows laptops and desktops
  • Networking equipment (switches, Wi‑Fi, POS systems)
  • Printers and external storage devices
  • Assist with additional event operations when required (e.g. media sales)
  • Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the wider team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Positive, ‘can‑do’ attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN)
  • Familiarity with Wi‑Fi setup and connectivity
  • Logical troubleshooting and problem‑solving ability
  • Interest in photography and video systems

This is more than just a tech support role – it’s a chance to be part of high‑energy driving events, work with cutting‑edge equipment, and build valuable real‑world technical experience in a unique environment.
