Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater London for a Head Housekeeper. The Head Housekeeper will oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards in cleanliness, orderliness, and overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing the housekeeping team, coordinating with other departments, supervising cleaning and laundry services, maintaining inventory, and training staff to deliver exceptional service. This role also includes addressing guest requests promptly and professionally, as well as upholding health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the property.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage tasks effectively
- Strong understanding and practical knowledge of LQA standards, ensuring consistent luxury service excellence and compliance with global luxury audit requirements
- Familiarity with Forbes standards, with the ability to uphold and deliver service levels expected in a luxury five-star environment
- Proficiency in communication and exceptional customer service skills to enhance guest experience
- Ability to train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene practices in the hospitality industry
- Previous experience in a similar role in luxury hospitality is an advantage
