An established wealth management business is looking to hire an Operations Officer to join its Reconciliations team. This is a strong opportunity for someone with operations experience to step into a broad, hands-on role covering UK and international reconciliations.

You will be joining a collaborative team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of cash, stock, and custody positions, while playing a key role in resolving breaks and improving processes

The Role

• ePerform daily reconciliation of cash and stock accounts across UK and international entitie
• sReconcile safe custody assets and external bank account
• sInvestigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies efficientl
• yWork closely with internal teams to reduce and clear outstanding item
• sEnsure all reconciliations meet internal controls and regulatory requirement
• sManage and reconcile stamp duty, including reclaim processe
• sContribute to process improvements within the reconciliations functio
• nSupport internal and external audit request
• sMaintain and update operational procedure

Requirement

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in wealth management or banking operation
• Strong reconciliations experience (cash, stock, custody preferred
• Understanding of UK regulatory environment; Crown Dependencies exposure is advantageou
• Experience with Avaloq or similar systems is beneficia
• SWIFT knowledge is a plu
