About the Role
A high achieving and inclusive secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team on a temp to perm basis. The role is available for an immediate or near immediate start and offers a clear pathway to a permanent position.
You will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, excellent behaviour standards and a supportive leadership team. The Science department is well resourced, collaborative and focused on delivering high quality teaching and learning that inspires students and raises attainment.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status in the UK
- Has experience teaching Science at secondary level including Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Combined Science
- Can deliver engaging and well structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Has strong classroom management skills and high expectations for student achievement
- Is a team player who contributes positively to department and whole school culture
- Is committed to continuous professional development and improving student outcomes
