HR Advisor – Heathrow (12-Month Maternity Cover)

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our client’s team in Heathrow on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover. This role will support operational HR activities, with a strong focus on Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
  • Support industrial relations activities, including supply chain audits and compliance with industry working rule agreements
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and the full employee lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate HR reporting, including headcount, absence, and payroll support
  • Ensure HR systems (Workday) are updated and compliant
  • Promote a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment

About You

  • Minimum 3 years’ HR Advisory experience, ideally within infrastructure, construction, or a heavy industry environment
  • Strong, hands-on Employee Relations experience (essential)
  • Exposure to Industrial Relations environments or unionised settings
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified (or above)
  • Experienced user of Workday
  • Organised, professional, and confident managing sensitive and complex matters
