Senior Educational Support Services Assistant (SESSA) (106391-0426)

You will join the Educational Support Services team in the School of Life Sciences at Warwick University. The School of Life Sciences is based at the university’s Gibbet Hill site.

The Student Office is open to students five days a week. Due to the nature of this role, there is an expectation that the post-holder will spend a minimum of 80% of their time working on campus.

There may be periods requiring 100% on-campus presence (e.g. during teaching or exam periods, or to provide team cover), particularly within the first three months to support training.

Following successful completion of the training period, hybrid working may be available, typically allowing for one day per week working from home. There is also a requirement to work up to 6 Saturdays a year to support open and offer holder days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent administrative and customer service support to students and staff in a busy office environment.
  • Maintain high IT literacy and attention to detail while managing a busy workload with multiple priorities.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Support the Educational Support Services team during teaching, exam periods and other key events.

  • Strong organisational skills and proactive attitude.

  • High IT literacy and ability to handle multiple priorities.
