About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistants to join our partner school in the Burton area. This role involves working closely with a child who has special educational needs, providing tailored support to help them access learning and develop essential life skills.
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with your assigned student to create a stable and supportive learning environment
- Deliver personalised 1:1 support while facilitating small group work sessions when required
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans to reflect the child’s progress and changing needs
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to implement effective support strategies
Location: Burton upon Trent area
Start Date: ASAP – September Starts Available
Contract: Term-time only – Permanent – Part-time or full-time
Salary Range: £21,000 – £23,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Qualifications
Ideally, a teaching assistant qualification or child care or health and social care – open to a range of qualifications.

Working Hours and Benefits
- Monday to Thursday: 8:15am – 4:15pm
