Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of high-quality, non‑medical care and companionship services for older adults. We are recruiting part‑time Care Assistants across Pewsey and Marlborough, including Devizes, and surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for those seeking a regular part‑time position or to supplement their income, with rotas built around your preferred regular availability.

Morning – 7am – 2pmEvenings – 5pm onwards

Responsibilities

• Support older adults in their own homes to live independently and with dignity.
• Provide personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, mobility support).
• Assist with meal preparation and support.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Pet care assistance and support with social outings and appointments.
• Maintain continuity of care by supporting regular clients and receiving paid introductions to clients before care visits.

Work Hours & Availability

• Part‑time hours based on your preferred regular availability (AM & PM hours available).
• Availability to work every other weekend is essential.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for working in rural locations).
• Must live within travelling distance of Pewsey (SN9).
• Willingness to work alternate weekends (essential).
• Enhanced DBS check and references required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Caring, reliable, and professional approach.

Benefits

• Paid travel time.
• Mileage allowance of 45p per mile.
• Full training provided – no previous care experience required.

Compensation

GBP 13 – 14 per hour.
