Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Lifeguard role based in York at Flamingo Land Resort. The Lifeguard will maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests by overseeing aquatic amenities, monitoring guest activity, responding to emergencies, and enforcing resort safety policies. The role involves performing routine inspections of pool areas, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service to guests of all ages.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming abilities and certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid
- Skills in assessing safety situations and responding quickly to emergencies
- Effective communication skills to provide clear instructions and excellent customer service
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus while monitoring multiple activities
- Ability to work as part of a team and interact positively with guests and colleagues
- Previous experience in lifeguarding or aquatic safety is a plus
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays
