Overview

Daniel Owen is recruiting for an experienced Carpenter Multi to join a busy Repairs and Maintenance team in Birmingham.

Location: South Birmingham | Job Type: Temporary (12 Weeks Initial) | Sector: Trades / Social Housing

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance works within social housing properties
  • Deliver high‑quality workmanship across carpentry, plumbing, and plastering tasks
  • Take ownership of jobs and aim for first‑time fixes where possible
  • Complete work within set budgets and timeframes
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations at all times
  • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
  • Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi
  • Strong multi‑trade skillset (carpentry, plumbing, plastering)
  • Full UK driving licence (maximum 5 points)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Experience working within social housing environments (desirable)
