Position: Prison Officer

Key Responsibilities

Prison officers protect the public and help to make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Work in a fast‑paced environment where no two days or situations are ever the same.

Perform a variety of duties including peacekeeping, counselling, and teaching roles.

Build constructive, positive and professional relationships with offenders.

Support colleagues and work as part of one team to keep the prison, offenders and everyone who works here safe.

Work various shifts and weekends as required.
