Kedrion Biopharma is seeking Production Technicians to join our Production department, where you will play a crucial role in the production of plasma-derived products. We are looking for people who can follow processes accurately, ensure products are manufactured to the right standards, and demonstrate attention to detail. You will be numerate, literate, able to work as part of a team, and able to follow health and safety requirements.

The Kedrion group has numerous legacies within its brand; your employer will be Bio Products Laboratory Ltd, doing business as Kedrion Biopharma UK. The plant is based in Elstree and counts nearly 1,000 colleagues across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out activities connected with the preparation of therapeutic products in a large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Work in clean rooms, operate large-scale process equipment, and perform in-process checks for formulation.
- Participate in cleaning activities of process areas and equipment.
- Assist with improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Be aware that there is an element of heavy lifting in most sections within Production.
- Work on a 24/7 shift pattern with 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off cycle (4 days on, 4 rest days, 4 nights on, 4 rest days).
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail; numerate and literate; able to work as part of a team and follow health and safety requirements.
- GMP experience or a good understanding is essential; experience of working to SOPs is an advantage.
- For some departments, prior manufacturing experience in the pharmaceutical or food and drink industries is preferred; for others, no previous manufacturing experience is required—skills and attitude are more important considerations.
