Job Overview

Level 2 Nursery Teacher Assistant (TA) – Nursery Wrap Around Care, Primary School – Plumstead (Greenwich). The role supports the Breakfast and Afterschool Club from 7:15am to 10:15am and 2:45pm to 6:15pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.

Key Details

Pay: £15–£17 per hour (potential increase after 12 weeks). Start Date: 1Sep2026. Contract: Term Time Only – Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Breakfast and After School Club, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children.
• Develop and implement age‑appropriate activities that promote early childhood education and personal growth.
• Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and club activities.
• Ensure compliance with childcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification and experience within a childcare setting or school.
• Experience supervising or managing children effectively.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete a new one).
• Good level of spoken English.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and willingness to update regularly.
