Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and strengths.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in line with legislation and best practice.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for children and their families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children’s services, particularly in a permanence or child protection setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on evidence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working in partnership with families.
