Electrical Fitter (Avionics/ Heater)

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Location: Stansted, Essex

The successful candidate will be based at the Stansted site and expected to work on site five days per week.

Work Hours: 39 hour week – Monday to Thursday 8:00‑16:30 and Friday 8:00‑16:00. A 9‑day fortnight is available for those who desire it.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform workshop activities for Avionics or Heater departments to support customer demands.
  • Test, inspect, repair, and overhaul components.
  • Update and interact with scheduling boards, giving feedback on daily issues or concerns.
  • Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all safety standards.
  • Meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.

About You

  • Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is preferred.
  • Some workshop or engineering experience preferred.
  • Aerospace or electrical experience is a bonus, not essential.
  • Good attention to detail and focus on safety.
  • Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
