Operations Support Agent
Hours: 20 per week
Location: Leeds LS9 0AN
Shifts: Monday to Friday 1600hrs – 2000hrs
Salary: £14.02 per hour, with premia paid for hours worked between 1900hrs and 2200hrs of £1.51.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers in relation to collection requests, along with delivery queries.
- Sort and allocate premium and distance deliveries.
- Check and investigate failed deliveries/collections when needed.
- Prioritize and reallocate failures for next day delivery as required.
- Input data into the tracking system.
- Maintain clear and effective communication and collaboration with team/managers and other depots.
- Follow FedEx processes, procedures, controls, and external regulatory requirements.
- Provide support to supervisor and team members as required, while complying with all local and corporate legal requirements and ensuring the safe and secure movement of all freight.
- Ensure customers’ urgent packages get to the right place on time and provide high‑quality customer service.
