Workshop Technician – Bristol
We are a market-leading manufacturer of special purpose vehicles, and we’re seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our high ‘performing team in Avonmouth.
About the Role
As a Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs within a busy workshop environment. Working both independently and alongside other technicians, you will help ensure customer satisfaction and uphold our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of service and repair work efficiently and to the highest standards
- Diagnose faults and provide practical, cost ‘effective technical solutions
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, organised working area to support a professional workshop image
- Attend occasional onsite jobs as required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified mechanic or time ‘served technician
- Experience working with special purpose vehicles (e.g., plant equipment, cranes, forklifts)
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is advantageous
- Strong customer focus and commitment to quality
- Understanding of diesel and electric engines
- A reasonably clean driving licence
