Senior Clinical Support Worker, Band 3
Location
University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust, Royal Stoke in Stoke‑on‑Trent and County Hospital in Stafford.

Qualifications
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or Level 2 Functional Skills for Maths and English. (For overseas equivalents, provide an ECCTIS comparability statement and original certificate.)
- Full Care Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care from an accredited awarding body.
Experience
12 months experience in a professional contract as a Healthcare Assistant or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential clinical care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Carry out delegated clinical duties including recording patient observations, performing ECG monitoring, urinalysis, pregnancy testing, bladder scanning, venepuncture (training provided), and supporting patients with ADLs.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive documentation of all clinical activities.
- Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with patients and families.
Working Patterns
Full‑time and part‑time positions available. Flexibility required to work a variety of shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and nights.

Salary
£25,760 to £27,476 per annum, pro rata.
