Description:Prospero teaching is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted Outstanding academy which require specialist support for certain pupils who are unable to adapt to the mainstream classroom.
The successful applicants will have:Experience working with ASD, SLD and PMLDAbility to work with challenging behaviorPrevious experience working between the ages of 2 to 19 years oldValid and enhanced child and adult DBS
The role consists of:Supporting the class teacher1:1 time with studentsPersonal careKeeping a level of focus and discipline to match the ages and abilities of the students in the classroomBuilding good student – teacher rapport.
