Overview
We are looking for an experienced, passionate Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding children and supporting families to achieve lasting, positive change through confident, relationship‑based practice.
You will join a well‑established Family & Children’s Support and Safeguarding Service focused on prevention, protection and helping families thrive. Your day‑to‑day work will include completing assessments and statutory enquiries, developing and reviewing robust care plans, engaging directly with children and families, chairing or contributing to multi‑agency meetings, preparing high‑quality reports and maintaining accurate electronic records, all while working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.
Qualifications
You will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation, child development and safeguarding practice, and experience of working with vulnerable children and families in complex situations.
Compensation
This position comes with a 15% market supplement payment. All market supplement payments are subject to review on an annual basis.
