Duties/Responsibilities: – Provide technical support across multiple geo-environmental projects, assisting with site investigations, data analysis, and report writing – Conduct environmental and geotechnical assessments, including the preparation of preliminary risk assessments and interpretive reports – Collaborate with senior staff to ensure project tasks are completed within agreed deadlines and to the required quality standards – Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to site investigations, remediation strategies, and environmental risk assessments – Support senior staff in managing client relationships, providing clear and timely communication on project progress, key findings, and deliverables – Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the company’s health, safety, and environmental procedures – Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, promoting a culture of collaboration, development, and high performance – Assist in the preparation of project budgets, ensuring that time and resources are managed effectively
About you: – Degree in Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline – Experience in a geo-environmental consultancy environment, with exposure to contaminated land, site investigations, remediation strategies, or similar areas – Familiarity with relevant UK environmental and planning regulations – Practical experience with data analysis and technical report writing – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret environmental and geotechnical data – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise technical reports and engage with clients and team members effectively – Understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations relevant to geo-environmental work
