The project:
An exciting opportunity to join the Cost Management team within the private commercial sector working in a seconded CMO role within one of our global corporate real estate clients. The role will involve supporting the commercial PMO lead across a full range of benchmarking, capital planning, project budgeting, forecasting and strategic procurement services. At Mace, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about cost management and always aim to provide the highest standard of delivery for their clients.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing consistent cost management across multiple projects.
- Overseeing cost planning, benchmarking and commercial governance.
- Maintaining accurate cost databases and data integrity.
- Delivering clear cost reports and insights to stakeholders.
- Tracking trends, accruals, commitments and change control.
- Building forecasts to assess programme performance.
- Ensuring compliance with policies and industry standards.
- Managing teams, drive improvement and support net‑zero goals.
You’ll Need To Have
- Strong cost planning, data analysis and advanced Excel capability.
- Degree qualified with professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS).
- Deep knowledge of contracts, sector standards and sustainability drivers.
- Skilled communicator with proven stakeholder management and continuous improvement focus.
