This is a key leadership role within a high growth division, offering the opportunity to shape and evolve a best in class in house Creative Studio. You will play a central role in delivering impactful, customer focused creative across a wide range of channels, helping to drive brand consistency and elevate the overall customer experience.
Working within a broader Design and Customer Experience function, this role operates at the intersection of brand, marketing and product, collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
The Role
As Creative Studio Director, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of designers and copywriters, overseeing the end to end delivery of creative output across all marketing touchpoints. From early stage concept development through to execution, you will ensure all work is aligned to brand strategy, commercially effective and tailored to customer needs.
You will also take ownership of creative produced both internally and through external agency partners, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple regions.
This role requires a strong creative leader who can balance strategic thinking with hands on direction, whilst building a high performing, collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high performing in house creative team across design and copy
- Set and drive creative direction across all channels including digital, social, CRM, paid media, video and offline
- Oversee the delivery of creative from concept through to final execution, ensuring consistency with brand and commercial objectives
- Partner closely with marketing, product and customer experience teams to deliver cohesive, customer led campaigns
- Shape and evolve the creative strategy in line with changing customer behaviours, content trends and media consumption
- Manage relationships with external creative agencies, ensuring output meets required standards
- Present creative concepts and rationale to senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
- Ensure all creative output meets brand, accessibility and regulatory standards
- Drive alignment between brand and product experience, working closely with research, content and product design teams
- Build strong internal relationships to ensure effective collaboration across markets and functions
Requirements
- 10+ years of proven experience in a creative director leadership role within an agency or in house environment within B2C financial services or fintech
- Strong background across brand, campaigns, digital and social, with a focus on maintaining consistency across multiple channels
- Experience defining and delivering creative strategy within a fast paced, consumer focused business
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and scale creative teams
- A strong portfolio showcasing high quality, customer centric creative work
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Comfortable operating in agile environments with shifting priorities
- Proficiency in creative tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong awareness of emerging trends across design, technology and marketing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Degree in design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
