Head of Quality Assurance

Head of QA – Contract (£850 outside IR35) – Hybrid in London – Financial Services Experience

Please note that this is a contract position, requiring candidates to commute into the office twice per week.

Applicants must also have previous experience working within the financial services sector.

La fosse have partnered with a financial services business to recruit a Head of QA to lead testing strategy, drive automation, and ensure the delivery of secure, robust, high‑quality technology solutions across a complex environment. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant impact within a fast‑moving organisation undergoing major digital and operational transformation.

Key requirements:

• Skilled with modern test automation tools e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Postman and JMeter
• Strong experience building automated testing for APIs
• Proven ability to run large UAT programmes.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, e.g: Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring QA teams.
• Experience working within regulated industries preferably financial services
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non‑technical groups.
• Experience ensuring all levels of compliance are being met across testing activities

Candidates must have experience working within financial services.
