An opportunity has arisen within the Business Support Service, for an enthusiastic and experienced administrator to join an established team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will help provide general administrative support to our Social Care teams to enable them to carry out their work with the children, young people and families of Nottinghamshire.

The post will suit candidates looking to work full-time hours Monday – Friday. The post can be worked on a hybrid basis, with an expectation that you work from the office for 40% of your working week, with more if service needs require this.

You will have a wide range of relevant experience, including using Microsoft packages ie. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint to generate documents as requested.

You will enjoy working in an administrative role, be organised, efficient, able to work on your own initiative, be supportive of others and possess good problem-solving skills. Attention to detail is essential.

You need to demonstrate a professional and flexible attitude, with a full appreciation of the need for confidentiality.

It is essential you are able to demonstrate the ability to prioritise a varied workload, working quickly and accurately to meet strict deadlines.

Duties will be varied and will include general administrative tasks – producing letters, creating meeting invitations, formatting documents and being a point of contact for families, professionals and social care colleagues. Relevant training will be provided.

The ability to work flexibly within a team to achieve shared goals is essential.

Please provide examples within your application that demonstrate the relevant skills, experience and qualities you have that will make you the ideal candidate for this role.
