We’re partnering with a growing, ambitious UK business services firm to find an exceptional Marketing Director – a commercially driven leader ready to build something genuinely transformational. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a strategic marketing and revenue remit from the ground up.
The business is ready to elevate its marketing function into a true growth engine. You’ll design and execute a revenue-focused B2B marketing strategy – one that promotes the brand, drives new client acquisition, accelerates cross-sell, embeds a sales culture, and establishes the systems, processes and technology to sustain it. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is both a strategic and hands‑on role. You’ll be shaping the direction, but also close enough to the work to make it happen.
Marketing Director – role remit:
- Developing and owning a B2B marketing and revenue strategy aligned to commercial growth targets
- Refining brand positioning and delivering thought leadership campaigns
- Leading digital performance marketing – SEO, automation, email, social, and full‑funnel optimisation
- Driving the selection and implementation of a robust marketing technology stack
- Building dashboards and analytics frameworks to track lead generation, pipeline health, cross‑sell performance and campaign ROI
- Challenging and influencing senior stakeholders to adopt a proactive, commercially minded growth culture
The Successful Candidate:
You’ll be a senior B2B marketing leader – most likely operating at Director level within business services and consulting, business process outsourcing, professional services or human resources services.
Beyond sector, what matters most is your ability to connect marketing to revenue, lead change with confidence, and bring both the strategic vision and the hands‑on capability to deliver it.
Specifically, you’ll bring:
- Significant senior marketing leadership experience (5+ years at Director level)
- A proven track record of driving growth in a B2B environment with preferred sectors as business services and consulting, HR services, professional services and business process outsourcing (BPO)
- Brand marketing and positioning expertise
- Strong digital marketing credentials – SEO, automation, performance analytics plus deep expertise in CRM and marketing technology
- Commercial acumen, data‑driven thinking and budget ownership
- Experience leading cultural change and influencing at C‑suite level
