The opportunity
The platform operates in a space where brands spend serious money but run things in a fragmented, broken way. This business has spent ten years proving a better model works for some of the world’s biggest consumer brands. Now they’re productising that expertise, building an AI-native platform around it, and creating a category in the process.
This is the founding marketing role. No team, no playbook, no one ahead of you. You’ll work directly with the founders, own a budget of up to £1 million, and build the function around you as results come in. The ambition is £100 million in revenue. Marketing is how they get there.
What you’ll own
- The positioning and narrative what this product is, who it’s for, and why it wins
- Go-to-market for launch and every release that follows
- The demand engine — building inbound alongside an existing outbound sales team
- Category creation making this business the name people associate with this space
- The team building it around you as the function proves its impact
Who this is for
You started your career at a consumer brand that broke through a crowded category, a product that needed a story, an audience that needed convincing. You know what it takes to make something mean something to people.
From there, one of two things happened:
You stayed in consumer and built a serious track record and you’re now ready to apply that brand-building instinct to a B2B product for the first time.

You’ve already made the move into B2B SaaS or AI and you’ve spent the last few years proving that a consumer marketing brain is an advantage, not a liability, in this world.

The background we’re looking for
- Head of Marketing or Marketing Director at a consumer brand with a genuine breakout story drinks, food, health, wellness, fintech, D2C or similar
- Either still in consumer and ready for the leap or already in B2B SaaS or AI and bringing that consumer instinct with you
- You’ve launched a product into a noisy market and made it stand out positioning, messaging, creative, the whole thing
- Startup or scale-up experience you know what it means to do things yourself before you can delegate them
- The package

- Hybrid 2 to 3 days in a London office
