What you’ll be doing:

The Reporting and Data Risk Analyst plays a critical role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful risk and compliance data and analysis to support risk management oversight and decision-making across the organisation. The role focuses on advanced analytics, and the production of dashboards and reports that provide clarity on risk exposures, trends, and emerging issues. This position will champion innovation through automation, AI tools, and data visualisation to enhance efficiency and ensure stakeholders receive actionable insights that strengthen the organisation’s risk culture and adherence to the Risk Management Framework.

  • Support the development and production of high-quality risk and compliance dashboards, and MI packs for committees, boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of key risk indicators (KRIs), incidents, control effectiveness, and compliance metrics.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
  • Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to improve transparency and decision-making.
  • Champion the use of data visualisation and automation to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Support identification and reporting of reputational risk indicators and trends.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in MI production, data analysis or machine learning, ideally within financial services or pensions
  • Strong data management and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), advanced Excel, coding or AI
  • Ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely
  • Knowledge of risk frameworks and governance
  • Degree in STEM, or Finance/Risk related subject with notable data analysis components
  • Experience with automation tools or scripting (e.g., Python, SQL)
