The Role

The Central Sales Customer Service Representative is responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customer relationships through various communication channels, including phone calls, emails, text messages, and other digital platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and the ability to work effectively in an office environment. The representative will be responsible for prospecting potential customers, promoting products or services, and achieving sales targets across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize phone calls, emails, text messages, and other digital platforms to engage with potential customers and generate leads.
  • Employ persuasive selling techniques to effectively promote products or services across different channels.
  • Seamlessly transition between channels to provide a consistent and personalized customer experience.
  • Manage inbound sales inquiries: respond to incoming calls, emails, text messages, and other digital inquiries from potential customers.
  • Provide product information, answer questions, and address customer concerns across various channels.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions through the preferred channel of communication.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with existing customers through multiple channels.
  • Regularly communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide ongoing support.

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably in an omni-channel sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, across various channels.
  • Strong persuasive and negotiation skills across different communication platforms.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships through multiple channels.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage omni-channel sales activities.
  • Initiative-taking and target-driven with a purposeful mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage multiple channels.
