About the Role
We are recruiting a Housekeeping Supervisor for L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa, part of Hand Picked Hotels. This is a temporary maternity cover role beginning in July 2026.
The 4 AA Red Star L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa is located in St. Brelade’s Bay, one of Jersey’s most beautiful beaches. The hotel has 106 bedrooms and the Grill restaurant offers panoramic ocean views. It is ideal for romantic getaways and coastal weddings. The spa features six treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a pedicure & manicure area, and a sleep room.
Responsibilities
- The role involves ensuring all guest bedrooms are cleaned and maintained to a very high standard, creating a magical first impression.
- You will create a home‑from‑home experience, replenishing each room with fresh towels and toiletries.
- You will cover the Head Housekeeper’s responsibilities during absences or annual leave.
- Attention to detail is essential: you will maintain immaculate public areas and rooms.
- As part of our esteemed brand, you will set up tea, coffee and biscuit stations and deliver personalised amenities, including services for furry guests.
- You will support colleagues and demonstrate expertise in your field, checking rooms and offering assistance as needed.
- Your enthusiasm and enjoyment of the team culture are highly valued.
- The position is full‑time (40 hours per week), 5 days a week on a rota basis, including weekends.
About you
- Some housekeeping or cleaning experience, comfortable working alone and within a fast‑paced, busy environment.
- Consistently high standards and pride in delivering them.
- A friendly, welcoming and helpful manner, essential for ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
- Enthusiastic, willing to take on new responsibilities and flexible to assist in various hotel areas as business and guest needs dictate.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver our guest experience standards, going above and beyond to ensure guests receive a high‑quality, personalised, magical experience.
